Chapter 5 Detailed Function Introductions

Figure. 5-1-3 Starting frequency and starting time
Tips:
1. Starting frequency is not restricted by the frequency lower limit.
2. If reference frequency is lower than starting frequency during acceleration, the inverter will run at zero-speed
P1.03 DC braking current at start This value depends on the inverter model [0.0%]
P1.04 DC braking time at start Setting range: 0.0~30.0s [0.1s]
Notes:
P1.03 and P1.04 are only active when P1.00 is set to 1 (start mode 1 is selected), as shown in Figure. 5-1-1.
In V/F mode, 100.0% corresponds to the rated current of the motor; in vector mode, the starting DC braking
current is determined by P8.00 pre-excitation current compensation coefficient (100.0% corresponds to
no-load current of the motor).
The set upper limit of the starting DC braking current is 80% of the rated current of the inverter or the smaller
rated current of the motor.
When the starting DC braking time is 0.0s, there is no DC braking process.
Tips:
Tips Before using DC braking function, the rated parameters of the motor must be correctly set.
P1.05 start preset frequency Setting range: 0.00 ~ maximum frequency [0.00Hz]
P1.06 preset frequency hold time Setting range: 0.0 ~ 3600.0s [0.0s]
