2.13 Rubber Bumper Adjustment
1. Place a bowling ball on the lift arm assembly (see Figure 2-13).
2. Measure the clearance between the ball and the ball lift belt. This clearance should
be between 3/8 and 1/2 inch. The increase in clearance from earlier units is
needed because of the thicker rail covers of the new Gripper ball return.

3. Adjust this clearance by adjusting the height of the rubber bumpers (see Figure 2-14).
Following adjustment, tighten the jam nuts.
