Authentication Type: Shows if open system or shared key authentication is used.
Multicast Cipher: The encryption used for broadcast and multicast data.
Information - Client
The Client page (FIG. 21) displays details on wireless devices currently associated to the WAP-250G.
The items on this page include:
Station Address: The MAC address of the wireless client.
Authenticated: Shows if the client has been authenticated. The two basic methods of
authentication supported for 802.11 wireless networks are “open system” and “shared key.”
