Executing a Test Switch
The Precis
LT
ships from the factory with a default switch that routes the signal from
Input 1 to all outputs on both levels. Before using the system for normal operations,
the default switch should be disconnected and a test switch executed to verify that the
system is working correctly.
If you are using an external controller, follow the test switch sequence below to
disconnect the factory default switch and route a test switch from Input 2 to Output 2
on both levels (this sequence only applies to new system installations). The level
designation is not required and is therefore omitted.
To disconnect the default switch, enter the following command line:
DI1T
When DI1T appears, the command is successfully executed. If any other character
appears, the command was not successful. Regardless of the system response,
execute the test switch according to the following instructions.
Note: O is the letter O, not the number zero (0).
To execute the test switch, enter the following command line:
CI2O2T
When CI2O2T appears, the command is successfully executed. If any other
character appears, the command was not successful. For troubleshooting tips, see
page 46.
A test switch can be executed from either an external controller or a front control
panel. If using an external controller, see page 14 for more information. If you prefer
to use the control panel to execute the test switch, see page 33.
