Command Line Responses
Command characters and numbers appear on the screen when the system accepts
them. A command line has successfully executed when the entered “T” command
appears. If a command or number is not accepted, a different character appears and
the command is not executed. See the following table for command line responses
and their meanings.

Executing a Test Switch
The Precis
LT
ships from the factory with a default switch routing the signal from
Input 1 to all outputs on both levels. Before you use the system for normal
operations, disconnect the default switch and execute a test switch to verify that the
system is working correctly. Before executing a test switch, attach the source and
destination devices to the enclosure (see Attaching Video Cables on page 8 and
Attaching Audio Wires on page 11), apply power to the enclosure (see page 16), and
then apply power to the source and destination devices.
You can use BCS commands to execute a test switch even if your enclosure has a
control panel, as long as an external controller is attached.
