What to do if my Aprilaire Dehumidifier blower is running but compressor is not?
If the dehumidifier blower is running, but the compressor isn't, and a float switch is installed, check the connections at the control board and empty the condensate pan. If no float switch is installed, check that the jumper is installed at the float switch terminals on the control board. Also check the air filter and ductwork for blockages, and increase the humidity setting. Ensure all ductwork is properly sealed.
