When servicing, replace all removed gaskets, O-rings and washers.
Intervals
The local Atlas Copco Customer Centre may overrule the maintenance schedule, especially the service
intervals, depending on the environmental and working conditions of the compressor.
The longer interval checks must also include the shorter interval checks.
Service plans for compressors with Elektronikon II
Besides the daily and 3-monthly checks, the service operations are grouped in plans,
called service plans A, B, ... as specified in the schedule below.
Each plan has a programmed time interval at which all service actions belonging to that
plan are to be carried out. When reaching the interval, a message will appear on the
screen indicating which service plans are to be carried out; see section Status data
menu. After servicing, the intervals must be reset; see section Service menu.
Preventive maintenance schedule
Daily and 3-monthly check list
Period Operation
Daily Check oil level.
Check readings on display.
Check air filter service indicator.
3-monthly (1) Check coolers, clean if necessary.
Remove the air filter element and inspect. If necessary, clean using an air jet. Replace
damaged or heavily contaminated elements.
Check the filter element of the electric cabinet (if fitted). Replace if necessary
On Full-Feature units: Check condenser of dryer and clean if necessary.
3-monthly Check that condensate is discharged when pressing the test button on top of the
electronic water drain(s).
(1): More frequently when operating in a dusty atmosphere.
