6.0 Maintenance and Service
Changing the bacterial lter
Exchange daily or when blocked.
Check the bacterial lter
• Set the vacuum regulator (
13
,g.1,page8)to
"maximum" (right stop).
• As soon as the vacuum gauge shows a vacuum value
> -0.3 bar, while the suction hose is open,thelterhasto
be replaced.
Changing the bacterial lter
PleasedoonlyuseoriginalATMOSbacteriallters.The
devicemayneverbeoperatedwithoutDDSbacteriallter/
oversuction stop.
Bacteriallterplate/integratedbacteriallter:
• Detach all hose connections carefully on the lid system
and take secretion canister out carefully to prevent spills
and contamination of the area. Dispose of secretions
properly.
• Griplidsystemrmly,openlidoflterhousingbyturning
inanti-clockwisedirectionandremovelter.Disposeof
lterandthoroughlyrinseallpartsunderrunningwater.A
detergent or cleaning agent may also be used if required.
• Aftercleaninganewbacterialltermustbeinserted.With
bacteriallterplates:smoothsidedown.
Externalbacteriallter:
• Toopenthebacterialltercoverpleaseturnit.
• Disposeofthebacteriallter.
• Insertanewbacteriallterandclosecover.
) Make sure to clean the electrodes of the automatic
secretion canister evacuation!
) Mistake in polarity not possible!
) If no vacuum is achieved after switching on again the
suctionsystem,checkfreemovementoftheoat!
