9. Programmable Parameters
9.1 Main Menu
The main menu lets you view and change programmable parameters that control
how the EMX4e operates.
To open the main menu, press the
MENU
button then scroll to Main Menu and
press
MENU
again.
NOTE
Parameters for smart card functions are only visible in the parameter list if
the smart card is installed.
9.2 Altering Parameter Values
To change a parameter value:
scroll to the appropriate parameter in the main menu and press
to
enter edit mode.
to alter the parameter setting, use the
and buttons. Pressing
or
once will increase or decrease the value by one unit. If the button is
held for longer than five seconds, the value will increase or decrease at a
faster rate.
to save changes, press
STORE
. The setting shown on the display will be
saved and the keypad will return to the parameter list.
to cancel changes, press
EXIT
. The keypad will ask for confirmation, then
return to the parameter list without saving changes.
9.3 Adjustment Lock
You can prevent users from altering parameter settings by turning on the
adjustment lock (parameter 10G
Adjustment Lock
).
If a user attempts to change a parameter value when the adjustment lock is active,
an error message is displayed:
Access Denied
Adj Lock is On
