5.5 Air Intake Housing with Recirculating
and Air Flow/Fresh Air Door
Removing
– Remove the complete instrument panel and instrument panel
crossmember. Refer to⇒ Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 ; Removal
and Installation .
– Remove the A/C unit (heater). Refer to
⇒ “5.3 A/C Unit“, page 108 .
– Disconnect the connector -A-.
– Mark wire connection to connector -B- (to Air Flow Door Motor
-V71- ) and disconnect it (danger of interchange since con‐
nectors -B- and -C- are of identical construction).
– Mark wire connection to connector -C- (to Recirculation Door
Motor -V113- ) and disconnect it.
