Depending on the vehicle production period, a damping cham‐
ber may be installed in the refrigerant lines from the expansion
valve to the compressor on certain versions (not planned at
this time, introduction not yet finalized). Refer to the Electronic
Parts Catalog (ETKA). The damping chamber balances out
pressure fluctuations that can occur when operating the A/C
compressor. Refer to
