Switching
On
&
Off
Switch on all source units before switching on power to the Omnia.
When switching on: the power
LED
illuminates. When switching off:
switch
off
the Omnia before the source units.
Standby
Mode
The Omnia will enter standby mode after being powered on.
Press
the "Standby'' button to bring the Omnia
out
of
standby, the power
indicator
LED
becomes brighter and the display shows the "Omnia"
welcome screen while the unit
is
getting ready
for
operation.
Source
Select
Press
the-ffi button on the
front
panel
or
use
the source
keys
on the
-ffi
remote handset to select different source inputs.
In
addition, you
can
press and hold the
-ffi
on the
front
panel to enter the channel
~
selection page, select a channel
via
the
Tor
A button, and press the
~
button to confirm.
Volume
Control
Press
the
T
and
A
buttons
on
the
front
panel,
or
use
the
T
v
L
..._
volume
up/
down
keys
on the remote control, to set the volume
level. The range
is
-78dB to +8dB, the factory def~ult:,t0lume setting
~~
is
-30dB. When coming
out
of
standby the Omnia will
be
set to the
~
previously used volume setting, except
if
louder than -30dB, in
which
case
the volume will default to -30dB.

Limit feature.
Mute
Press
the
MUTE
key on the remote handset to mute I un-mute the
sound.
Display
Setting
Press
the
DISPLAY
key on the remote control,
or
select the Display Option in the
menu to have the different display modes;
VU
Digital,
VU
Analogue, Audiolab and
Display Off. When the display
is
off, press any key
to
turn
on the display. The
display will
be
off
again after about 5 seconds, by default.
You
can
change the
duration to
10,
15
and 30 seconds from the Display Time Out in the menu.
Operating
Mode
Although the Omnia
is
an
integrated amplifier
it
can
function
as
a separate pre and
power amplifier.
Press
the
MODE
key on the remote control to select different
operating modes.
