• Check that the WRECD transducer is inserted into the ear that is currently under test.
Headphone high distortion or noise
Headphone output contains uncomfortable distortions or noise
• Headphone output may be clipping when using a high powered hearing instrument.
• Reduce the headphone volume control using the mouse wheel.
• If distortion continues at reasonable headphone listening volume, then the source is likely the hearing
instrument.
