7.2 Connections Between AutroMaster ISEMS and
AutroSafe 3
Note that AutroMaster ISEMS does not work with AutroSafe version
3.4.0 and earlier. The system requires AutroSafe 3.4.1 and more
recent 3 versions.
The chapter describes the connection between AutroMaster and one
panel or one AUTROLON ring.
A twisted pair (cat 5 or better) cable is used to connect the network
card in the PC to the network card in the panel (EAU-330/2). Please
observe that the twisted pair cable is a crossed cable and not a one-to-
one cable.
Connection between AutroMaster and several AUTROLON rings.
To communicate with 2 or more AutroSafe systems a network switch
must be used to split the signals. A switch can also be used to amplify
the signals in order to extend the length of the communication cable.
