Issue 0 This is the original version of this document, revised and issued in October 2010 to
support 9600 series IP deskphone software release 6.0 for four new deskphone models:
9608, 9611G, 9621G, and 9641G. Release 6.0 was numbered to be compatible with
release 6.0 of Avaya Aura
®
Communication Manager and Release 6.0 of Avaya Aura
®
System Manager.
Issue 1 This version of the document, revised and issued in February 2012 to support 9600
Series IP deskphone software release 6.2, for the deskphone models: 9608, 9611G,
9621G, and 9641G. To separate these phones from previous Issues, this document has
been renumbered as 16-601944, Issue 1.
Issue 2 This version of the document was revised and issued in September 2013 to support the
Release 6.2.2. The 6.2.2 release aligns the 9601 SIP deskphone with the latest SIP96x1
Deskphone software.
Issue 3 This is the current version of the document to support the SIP96x1 Deskphone software
Release 6.3.
