8. Battery charging indicator :
This Symbol lights up when the ignition is turned ‘ON’ and goes ‘OFF‘ after the engine starts .If this symbol glows while
engine is running, it indicates that battery is not getting charged.
9. MIL indicator:
This Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) will illuminate if a fault exists in the electronic components related to engine. It will
stay “ON” until the diagnostic tool detects & clears the fault. The MIL Lamp glows in the following situations
- Comes ‘ON’ when key is in ‘ON’ position and goes ‘OFF’ when engine is started.
- Remains “ON” while the engine is running only if any malfunctioning is registered by ECU.
- Starts ‘BLINKING’ if continuous problem of malfunction is observed
10. Neutral indicator: It indicates the vehicle is in neutral
Caution:
- If MIL indicator continues to remain ON, contact or visit Authorised Service Center immediately.
- If the MIL symbol remains ON or is blinking when the engine is running, the engine's performance deteriorates
marginally & sometimes significantly. Rush your vehicle to Authorized service center.
- If Battery indicator remains 'ON' while the engine is running, it indicates that the battery is not getting charged. Switch
off all unnecessary electrical equipment and get the problem attended at an Authorized Service Center.
