Corporate SSID The SSID of your corporate wireless infrastructure to which the ClickShare Buttons
will connect.
Passphrase (Pre-
shared key)
The key used in WPA2-PSK to authenticate onto the wireless infrastructure. This can
be a string of 64 hexadecimal digits or a passphrase of 8 to 63 printable ASCII
characters.

When having problems connecting the Button to your corporate network, to get feedback from the Button
please have a look at the ClickShare Client log. This log can be enabled by holding the Shift key when starting
the Client executable. Look for the lines “EDSUSBDongleConnection:: mpParseDongleMessages”. An error
code and a short summary of the issue should be logged.
CAUTION: It is strongly recommended to enable Wi-Fi security by choosing WPA2-PSK or WPA2
Enterprise and to NOT opt for disabling the Wi-Fi security mode. Default Wi-Fi security mode is
WPA2-PSK, the Wi-Fi passphrase should be changed on first use to prevent anyone else accessing
the Wi-Fi network.
6.18 Services, mobile devices
ClickShare app
This function enables the possibility to connect with a mobile device using the ClickShare app to connect to
the Base Unit.
It is enabled by default. When the Base Unit is integrated in the corporate network, it may be required to
disable content sharing from the ClickShar app.
