Thefollowingadviceshouldbeadheredto,fromwhenfirsthandlingtheboilertothefinalstagesofinstallation,andalsoduringmaintenance.

Mostinjuriesasaresultofinappropriatehandlingandliftingaretotheback,butallotherpartsofthebodyarevulnerable,particularlyshoulders,armsandhands.

Health&SafetyistheresponsibilityofEVERYONE.

Thereisno'safe'limitforonemaneachpersonhasdifferentcapabilities.Theboilershouldbehandledandliftedusingasuitableliftingdevice.Asacktruckisidealfor

manoeuvringtheappliancetotheroomwheretheinstallationistotakeplace.

Donothandleorliftunlessyoufeelphysicallyable.

WearappropriatePersonalProtectionEquipmente.g.protectivegloves,safetyfootwearetc.

Preparation

Coordinatemovementsknowwhere,andwhen,youareallgoing.
