After approximately six seconds,-messages similar to the
following will appear on the screen.

Performing Self tests
self tests complete
If the pump does not start, check the batteries. Ifthe pump beeps
continuously, turn it off; reseat the cartridge, and restart the pump.
The pump performs self tests, beeps three times, and then
displays the cartridge identification and version number, À
screen similar to the following appears.
