4 The AC Power Kit
> Plug the charger into the pump, as shown in Figure 3-1.

—Remove the cover on the lower socker on the left side of the
pump.
—Align the red dot on the tight angle connector at the end of
che charger cable with the dot on che socket.
—Push the connector into the socket.
© Plug the charger into the AC outlet.
+ The batteries should be charged for 16 hours prior to initial
use,
IMPORTANT | A properly grounded electrical outlet must be used. Check
with your Biomedical Engineering Departinent or hospital
maintenance, if any questions arise.
