SWASHPLATE ASSEMBLY
Chapter 62 Check swashplate tilt friction. Value must be between 15 to
32 pounds (67 to 142 N). If not within limits, adjust to 15 to
32 pounds (67 to 142 N). Check tilt friction every 10 to 25 hours
until it is stabilized.
Chapter 65 DISC PACK COUPLING
Torque check disc pack coupling attaching hardware as follows:
1. Apply the minimum torque required for the fasteners. If the
fasteners do not move, the check is completed. Check torque
seal (C-049) and apply as required.
2. If the fastener(s) moved, do the steps that follow:
a. Remove the affected disc pack coupling and examine
the bolts, nuts (minimum tare torque, refer to BHT-ALL-SPM)
and washer for condition. Discard damaged parts.
b. Examine the disc pack coupling for condition. Discard
damaged disc pack coupling.
c. Install the removed disc pack coupling and repeat
torque check after 10 to 25 hours, until the torque is stabilized.
Re-apply torque seal (C-049) as required.
