damage,andconditionofthepaint.Payextraattentiontothecrewdoors.
2.Visuallyexaminethewindowsforcrazing,cracks,shattering,and
impactdamage.Payextraattentiontothewindshield,crewdoor
windows,andchinbubbles.

1.Visuallyexaminethemainrotorbladesforcracks,dents,tears,
impactdamage,andconditionofthecoating.Payextraattentiontothe
leadingedgeabrasionstrips,tipcaps,andupperskins.Ifdelaminationis
suspected,examinethebladesforvoids.
2.Ifanydamageisfoundonthemainrotorblades,dothefollowing:
a.Removethemainrotorblades.
b.AttachaTHISCOMPONENTWASREMOVEDFROMSERVICE
BECAUSEOFAFLIGHTTHROUGHHAILtagoneachmainrotorblade.
c.Sendthemainrotorbladestoanapprovedfacilityforfurtherinspection
andrepair.
3.Ifnodamageisfoundonthemainrotorblades,thebladesare
serviceable.
4.Visuallyexaminethemainrotorhubassemblyforcracks,dents,tears,
impactdamage,andconditionofthecoating.Payextraattentiontothe
exposedareasoftheyokeassemblies,gripassemblies,andupper
mountassembly.
5.Ifanydamageisfoundonthemainrotorhubassembly,dothe
following:
a.Removethemainrotorhubassembly.
b.AttachaTHISCOMPONENTWASREMOVEDFROMSERVICE
BECAUSEOFAFLIGHTTHROUGHHAILtagonthemainrotorhub
assembly.

c.Disassemble,clean,anddoadetailedinspectionofthemainrotor
hubassembly.
6.Ifnodamageisfoundonthemainrotorhubassembly,themainrotor
hubassemblyisserviceable.
7.Visuallyexaminethemainrotorcontrolsforimpactdamageand
replaceanyunserviceablepartsasrequired.

1.Visuallyexaminethetailrotorbladesforcracks,dents,tears,impact
damage,andconditionofthecoating.Payextraattentiontotheleading
edgeabrasionstrips.Ifdelaminationissuspected,examinetheblades

a.Removethetailrotorhubandbladeassemblies.
b.AttachaTHISCOMPONENTWASREMOVEDFROMSERVICE

assembliesandoneachtailrotorblades.
c.Sendthetailrotorbladestoanapprovedfacilityforfurtherinspection
