NOTE
Thecomponentinspectionintervalforacomponent(orthefailuretoprovideainspectionintervalfora
component)doesnotconstituteawarrantyofanykind.Theonlywarrantyapplicabletothehelicopteror
anycomponentisthewarrantyincludedinthePurchaseAgreementforthehelicopterorthecomponent.
TheinspectionprogramforthecomponentsoftheModel429helicopterisbasedonthecomponentoperating
timeandconsistsofthefollowing:
-1000-hourinspection(429-A-05-40-00-29A-281A-A):
Completetheinspectionevery1000hoursofcomponentoperatingtime.
-5000-hourinspection(429-A-05-40-00-23A-281A-A):
Completetheinspectionevery5000hoursofcomponentoperatingtime.
Theintervalspeciedforthepartnumberslistedinthecomponentrestorationschedule(T able1)appliestoall
successivedashnumbers(e.g.,-103,-105,-107,etc.)forthecomponent,unlessotherwisespecied.
Theinterval,ifany,fortheBHTkitcomponentand/orpartsnotcoveredinthischapterisincludedintheapplicable
InstallationInstruction(II)orsupplementin429-MM,Chapter99.
NOTE
ThePW207D1/D2MaintenanceManual(P/N3071602)includestheinstructionsforcontinued
airworthinessforthePW207D1/D2engines,asinstalledintheModel429helicopterandoperatedin
accordancewiththelimitationscontainedintheFlightManual(BHT-429-FM-1,Section1).
RefertothePW207D1/D2MaintenanceManual(P/N3071602)fortheTimeBetweenOverhaul(TBO)applicableto
theenginecomponents.
5.ScheduledComponentInspections-TypesofScheduledComponentInspections
Otherthanthespecicrequirementsstatedinthescheduledcomponentinspections,theseinspectionsarerestoration
tasks,whichconsistofthedisassembly,cleaning,anddetailedinspectionoftheapplicablecomponent.
6.ScheduledComponentInspections-IntervalTolerance
Theapprovaloftheinspectionintervaltolerancebythegoverningaviationauthorityistheresponsibilityofthe
owner/operator.Pleasecontactyourgoverningaviationauthoritytoobtainascheduledcomponentinspectioninterval
tolerance.Thetolerancedoesnotapplytolifelimitedpartsandistobeusedformaintenanceschedulingonly.
