24. Installing the Wide-Angle Driver
Cap frames and micro clamps utilize the Wide-Angle Driver. The Wide-Angle Driver consists
of two pieces.
· The cap frame driver ring
· The lower arm bracket
You must ALWAYS select the proper frame/hoop in the software when sewing with the Wide-Angle Driver.
Failure to do so may result in damage to your equipment!
Wide-Angle Driver Installation
1. Select the Wide-Angle Cap Frame for the hoop in the software.
a. Tap to select a hoop
b. Tap to select the Wide-Angle Driver Category
c. Locate and select the Wide-Angle Cap Frame
d. Conrm to return the main screen
2. Center the seweld.
a. Tap to go to the Transform screen
b. Tap to center the seweld of the Wide-Angle Cap Frame
c. Conrm to return to the main screen.
3. Moving the machine to either needle 8 or needle 9 is also benecial.
a. Tap to access the move-to-needle option.
b. Tap to select either needle 8 or 9.
c. Conrm to move the needle case and return to the main screen.
4. If attached, remove the hoop arms from the machine. To do this, use a 6mm Allen wrench to loosen
the two thumb screws securing each arm. Unscrew them and remove the arms.
