16.5. Software Updates
The Software Updates screen will walk you through updating the software when needed. The developers are
always working to improve the products, so updates with enhancements to performance and features may
be made available at any time.
· Notications (Internet Connection Required)
o When disabled, the Settings button on the main screen won't ash red when there is an
update available.
o When enabled, the Settings button will ash red when an update is available.
Currently Installed
This shows the current version numbers of the installed following
· UI Operating Software - This is the operating software that keeps the touchscreen running.
· UI Application - This is the software that is visible and allows access to the embroidery machine
controls.
· Firmware - This isthe rmware that controls machine behavior.
Updates
When updates are available, the install or reboot button will be highlighted in red. Tap the install or reboot
button to restart in the new version or install the rmware. It may take a few moments to install or reboot in
a new environment.
