16. Settings
The Settings page is full of settings for the touchscreen and software with access to additional settings for the
machine below.
· Machine Name
o Edit the machine name by tapping on the edit button or within the eld.
o This provides a customizable machine name to make it easier to tell multiple machines apart.
o This has no eect on machine performance.
· Network
o Shows the current network setup.
o Internet connection is not required to run the machine, but it is required for software updates
and video content within the help system.
o Tap the Network Connection button to select network settings.
· Time Zone
o Select your current time zone from the drop-down. This helps convert time stamps to the local
time of the machine.
· Units of Measure (Designs)
o This changes the display of design size as well as units of movement in the transform screen.
o Set to Centimeters
o Set to Inches
· Units of Measure (Hoops)
o This changes the display of the hoop size on the main screen and in the hoop selection
screen.
o Set to Centimeters
o Set to Inches
· Touchscreen Volume
o This slider adjusts the volume of the touchscreen's speaker.
o It does not adjust sounds from the machine.
