9. Color Sequence
The color sequence screen is where you can do the following.
· Set the thread colors on the thread tree.
· Manually or automatically needles, interrupts, or eects in a color sequence.
· Apply interrupts or eects to the color sequence.
View Window & Status Bar
Both the view window and status bar display the design colors and color sequence bar dierently depending
on a setting in view options.
· Colors from Design On - This displays the colors of the design as saved in the design le rather
than the colors assigned in the color sequence.
o This can result in the design on the screen diering greatly from the actual colors on the sewn
design.
· Colors from Design O - This displays the colors of the design as assigned in the color sequence.
o If a needle used in the color sequence does not yet have a thread color assigned to it, and
color block in the design using that needle will display in the color saved in the le until a
thread color is assigned to the needle.
Thread Tree
The thread tree can be set up to mimic the physical thread tree of the machine. Assigning the specic threads
that are actually installed on the machine can help prevent mistakes and unintentional results on the
embroidered product.
· Colors should be assigned to the thread tree in the software after thread cones have been physically
placed on the machine and the upper threading has been completed.
· Colors should beupdated on the thread tree any time a cone of thread is swapped for another on the
physical thread tree.
· Selected needles/cones on the thread tree are previewed below it.
