Inserting the bobbin case
> Hold the latch of the bobbin case.
> Insert the bobbin case into the hook until it clicks into position.
> Pull the thread over the thread cutter and cut.
> Close the hook cover.
Fill level of bobbin thread
To be able to display the fill level of the bobbin, the amount of thread that can be wound on the bobbin
must be entered after each winding of the bobbin thread.
> Tap «Bobbin filling».
> Tap the value next to «Yards on full Bobbin».
> If you are using pre-wound bobbins, enter and confirm the indicated thread quantity in yards.
> If you are using self-wound BERNINA bobbins, take the thread quantity of a full bobbin from the table in
the appendix, and enter and confirm the value. (see page73)

– During quilting, the percentage display will run backwards.
– A flashing symbol next to «Bobbin filling» indicates that the bobbin thread quantity has decreased to
under 25%.
