Read Coil Map – FC 01 (0x01)
Coil Description Comment
1 Low Alarm Read Coil (FC 01) is used to request binary status infor-
mation from the instrument. The query consists of a start coil
number (first register to receive data from) and the quantity
of bits to read. The least significant bit of the first data byte
contains the status of the addressed start coil. The other
coils status information follows toward the high-order end of
this byte and from low order to high order in subsequent
bytes. If the returned coil quantity is not a multiple of eight,
the remaining bits in the final byte will be padded with zero.
Status information:
ON – active – logical 1
