General installation information
Your Boretti must be installed by a qualied technician in accordance
with the applicable legal and local standards. Before starting assembly or
repair work, make sure that the cooker is disconnected from the mains.
Your Boretti can be installed on walls that are higher than the worktop,
such as a high appliance cabinet or a solid wall, at a distance of at least
200 mm from the side of the cooker. There must be at least 650 mm of
space between an attached shelf or extractor hood.
Your Boretti cooker comes equipped with adjustable feet that allow you
to set the cooker at a work surface height of 86 to 91 cm. Setting the
cooker height at the same level as the worktop height is recommended.
Boretti recommends that the cooker be completely levelled in order to
ensure proper operation.
The strip with ventilation slots supplied with your cooker is only
mandatory if your cooker is equipped with a gas-ventilated oven and
is covered at the top by tiles or a back wall. In versions with a regular
electric oven, you do not have to use it and you can place a back wall or
tiles directly on the stove.
In order to ensure proper operation, we recommend that you use the
cooker in a well-ventilated room. This is particularly important in the
case of cookers connected to bottled gas (butane/propane).
Butane/propane gas (bottled gas) is heavier than air. They thus remain
low in the room they are in. (only in case of leaks) There must therefore
be sufcient ventilation to remove the gases at the bottom. Under no
circumstances may gas bottles be placed below living space (cellars/
crawl spaces). This also applies to empty or half-full gas bottles.
