Maintaining, removing and replacing rotors with removable lobe
tips (MIP
®
rotors) is described below
.
In case of MIP
®
rotors which consist of a steel or stainless steel
rotor body and removable lobe tips made from materials compat-
ible with the pumped medium, only the lobe tips must be replaced
on a regular basis in the event of wear.
The complete MIP
®
rotors must only be replaced in in exceptional
cases.
