6. In each case, unscrew the rotating seal holding bush (2)
using the special tool (M) and pull it of
f the shaft.
7. Remove the seal face (4) with O-ring (5) out of the corre-
sponding rotating seal holding bush (2).
8. Remove the seal faces (4) with O-rings (5) out of the sta-
tionary seal holding bushes (8) remaining in the Börger
machine using a suitable tool (
e.g. screwdriver).
9. Clean the O-ring seats with a suitable agent that is compat-
ible with the seal material, quench fluid and medium, e.g.
alcohol-based industrial cleaner
.
10. Thoroughly clean all parts and the working chamber of the
machine before reinstalling removed parts.
11. Check all removed parts for wear and only reuse them if they
are undamaged.
