5.1.3 Data Modules DM
Data modules may contain all fixed and variable data defined by the user
as well as texts and messages. By means of the start−up organizational
modules OM7 and OM8, the user can copy any data module from the
user program memory to a data buffer range DB. This data range is al
ways available as a high−speed read/write memory (also with EPROM).
All data modules that have not been copied can be used as a read/write
memory if a RAM module is used.
Write access to data modules in EPROM/EEPROM operation is not per
mitted during program execution.
256 modules are available. Module length is 256 words.
