Protecting the phone from unauthorized users
You can protect your phone from unauthorized users by locking it with a secret
code. Y ou must specify your code before locking the phone for the first time. Y ou
may enter it personally and change it at any time. Y ou will also need your PIN to
activate VIP functions.
Specifying/changing your PIN
Select the desired menu item.
Select the menu item “PIN Entry”.
Enter the current 4-digit PIN code.
Note:
This step is not carried out if you are
entering the code for the first time.
Enter the new 4-digit PIN code.
Select a number greater than 2000.
This new code is now saved.
Locking the telephone
Select the menu item for locking and
unlocking.
Select the desired menu item.
Y our phone is locked. Y ou can only dial
emergency numbers.
The status display shows this message.
