The KTS 340 is a system tester for control unit diagno-
sis in motor vehicle workshops. The functions of the
KTS 340 with licensed ESI[tronic] software are as fol-
lows:

This device is designed for use in the WLAN 2.4 GHz i
band for Europe, USA, Canada and Japan.
It satisfies the requirements of the R&TTE directive
as confirmed by the CE mark.
The KTS 340 is a precision device which is not to be !
subjected to sources of heat (e. g. direct sunlight),
impact, vibration, magnetic fields and excessive
soiling.
Prerequisites3.2
A PC/Laptop with WIN XP (SP2), WIN VistaTM Home
Premium or WIN VistaTM Business operating system
and at least one free USB interface are required for
KTS 340 licensing by way of the ESI[tronic] Startcenter
software and the software update for KTS 340 control
unit diagnosis.
The USB interface must support the USB 2.0 protocol
or the USB 1.1 protocol.
The control unit diagnosis software of the KTS 340 i
must have been activated by means of the ESI[tronic]
software licence key.
