4 Identification and type code
4.1 Identification
MSM motors have an individual type plate showing the device designation
and providing technical information. The two-part type plate is attached at the
side of the encoder housing.
The type plate is provided for
● Identification of the motor
● Procurement of spare parts in case of a fault
● Service information.
