7. ACCESSORIES
This chapter describes the accessories which Bosch Rexroth can deliver as option for the CIMS
Mk IV measuring system.
7.1. SPARE PART KIT
A spare part kit is available with the main o-rings and bolts, see drawing F 037 A00 002, Appendix
A, for the precise content of the spare part kit.

7.2. CIMS MK IV CABLE
The following cable can be delivered by Bosch Rexroth for the CIMS Mk IV:
 CIMS Mk IV Cable
A 4x2x0.25mm2 cable (Ø7.6mm) with overall shielding from tinned
copper braiding and a full polyurethane outer jacket. The cable is
suitable for both inside and outside use, as it is resistant to
weather, ozone and UV-radiation, furthermore it has a very good
oil resistance. The cable is compatible with the 9-pin female angled
connector, the underwater connector and the Ex d cable gland as
mentioned in Section 7.3.

7.3. CONNECTION OPTIONS
The following connection options can be delivered by Bosch Rexroth for the CIMS Mk IV:
 9-pin female angled connector
The 9-pin female angled connector is compatible with the 9-pin
male connector chassis as delivered with the CIMS Mk IV standard
version (see drawing F 037 A00 002, Appendix A). The brass
nickel plated connector is IP67 rated and suitable for outside use if
the installation and maintenance instructions as given in Section
4.2.5.1 are strictly followed. The connector can be rotated in 45
steps in relation to the chassis part. Suitable for cables Ø6.5-9mm.

 Underwater male connector
8-pin male rubber and brass connector, has to be installed on the
CIMS with a stainless steel thread adapter with an “ed” seal.

 Underwater female connector with cable
8-pin female rubber connector with vulcanized CIMS Mk IV cable,
available in three cable lengths, 20m, 40m and 60m.

 Ex d cable gland
An Ex d barrier type cable gland can be delivered for the CIMS Mk
IV ATEX version. The cable gland is IP68, suitable for zone 1, gas
group IIB and can be used with armoured cables Ø6.7-10.3mm,
including the CIMS Mk IV cable.
