2. GENERAL INFORMATION
This document is intended as an aid to the installation, putting into operation and maintenance of
the CIMS Mk IV sensor supplied by Bosch Rexroth B.V.
Before starting to work with the CIMS Mk IV sensor, the relevant sections of this instruction manual
must be studied properly. The result of installation and maintenance depends primarily on training,
experience and good craftsmanship of the personnel performing the work.
Warning!
The mounting and removal of CIMS Mk IV sensors is specialized work that
can only be carried out properly by qualified and experienced personnel. In
the event of questions or doubts arising, always contact the Bosch Rexroth
service organization or your supplier.
Repairing the sensor is not permitted. A defect CIMS Mk IV has to be replaced by qualified and
experienced personal.

CIMS Mk IV is mechanically and electrically compatible with CIMS Mk II / III, except that the
standard connector changed from a 6-pin connector to a 9-pin connector.
