6 Transport and storage
Rexroth components are delivered in an unobjectionable state.
When transporting and storing the product, strictly adhere to
the ambient conditions specied in the data sheet. Improper
storage can be detrimental to the product.
6.1 Storing the pressure sensor
Pressure sensors are suitable for storage for up to 12 months under
the following conditions:
▶ Do not store the hydraulic component outdoors but in a well-
ventilated room.
▶ Provide for 100 % UV protection.
▶ Ensure a storage temperature between -40 °C and +100 °C.
▶ Protect the pressure sensor against humidity, particularly ground
humidity. Store the pressure sensor in the shelf or on a pallet. The
relative air humidity must not exceed 65 % and there must not be
any condensation.
▶ Ensure that no ozone formation takes place near the storage
location.
▶ Store the pressure sensor in packaging in order to protect it from
dust and dirt.
