Requirements
During the first registration, the use
of the Home Connect functions is
prepared. This registration should
only be carried out when you want to
use the Home Connect functionalities
for the first time.
s The device is connected to your home WiFi
network connected.
s The appliance is connected to the Home Con-
net app connected.
s A program has been selected.
▶ Press .
Pressing the button for at least 3
seconds opens the Home
Connect menu.
When you press the button, the
appliance is enabled for remote
start via the Home Connect app.
When you open the appliance door, the
function is automatically deactivated.
Remark: Please note that the Home
Connect functionalities can only be
used in combination with the Home
Connect app. Information on data
protection can be called up in the
Home Connect app.

When your appliance is connected to
a home network connected to the
Internet for the first time, it transmits
the following categories of data to the
Home Connect server (first
registration):
s Unambiguous identification of the device
ready (consisting of device keys
and the MAC address of the built-
in
Wi-Fi communication module).
s Wi-Fi . Security Certificate
communication module (for
information security of the
connection).
s The current software and hardware
version of your home appliance.
s Status of any previous
reset to factory settings.
