7.1.7.3 EFFICIENCY OF THE CATALYTIC UNIT
During the test, the exhaust fumes are measured at 2000-2500 rpm and idling
engine rates with the gas sampling probe inserted first prior to the catalytic unit
and then after it. The operator must comply with the instructions that appear on
the screen. The efficiency of the catalytic unit will appear in graphs at the end of
the procedure in relation to the four gases: CO, CO2, HC and O2.
