PC-FAX Receiving
You can receive incoming faxes into your PC.
Running PC-FAX Receiving
Form the Start menu, select Program File, Brother, MFC Software Suite and then select “PC-
FAX Receiving”.
The PC-FAX icon will appear on your PC Task tray for this Windows
®
session.
Setting Up Your PC

Right-click the PC-FAX icon on your PC Task Bar, and then click
PC-Fax RX Setup.

The PC-Fax RX Setup dialog box will appear:

In Ring Delay, select the number of rings before your PC answers incoming calls.

In Save file to, use the Browse button if you want to change the path where PC-FAX files will
be saved.

Make sure File Format is checked for .max (Default Required to use with PaperPort).

If you want to, you can check the Play wave file when receiving FAX check box, and then enter
the path.

To load PC-FAX receiving automatically when you statup Windows
®
, select the Add to
Startup folder check box.
