Changing the LDAP configuration using a web browser

You can configure and change the LDAP settings using a web browser.
a Click Network on the web page, and then click Protocol.
b Choose the LDAP check box and then click Submit.
c Restart the machine to activate the configuration.
d Make sure the machine is turned on and then choose Advanced Setting on the Protocol page.
Now you can configure and change the following LDAP settings using a web browser.
LDAP Server Address
Port (The default port number is 389.)
Search Root
Authentication
Username
Password
Timeout for LDAP
Attribute of Name (Search Key)
Attribute of E-mail
Attribute of Fax Number
e After setting, make sure that the Status is Enabled. Then click Submit.
