The quality of the treated water is decisively influenced by the installation and operating conditions of
the unit. The main factors are listed in the following table.
In all matters concerning the sensoric and microbiological quality of the treated water attention must
always be paid to where that quality is evaluated. During evaluation at a tapping point, for example,
the piping material, a water heater or warm water storage tank may decisively influence the water
quality.
