Housing Instructions
This chapter describes housing installation, proper opening and closing techniques to be used when
accessing the internal components, as well as recommended cable attachment procedures.

Preparing for Installation
➤ To inspect the housing
1. Ensure that the following are included with each housing:
■ two (2) mounting hardware kits (P/N HB0214) each consisting of:
–one strand clamp
–one lock washer
– one 1/4-20UNC x1-inch bolt
– one rubber O-ring (retaining)
2. Inspect the outside of the housing:
a. Check the convection fins, cable entry ports, cover bolts, and all testpoint connectors
for damage (refer to Figure ).
b. Make sure that each port hole is plugged with a plastic insert.
Note: Check the unit for damage. If there is shipping damage, contact the shipping
company and the C-COR Shipping Department.
