RF Module Installation
➤ To install the RF module
1. Ensure that the POWER SUPPLY FUSE is removed. If not, then remove it according to
procedures in To remove the fuse on page 6-2
2. Firmly press the RF module into the housing until the back of the module contacts the inside
of the housing.
3. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, start the four (4) MODULE HOLD DOWN screws into the
threaded receptacles in the housing. Tighten the screws alternately to prevent stressing the
module or housing. Torque to between 25 and 30 in-lbs (2.8 and 3.4 N·m).
4. Using a fuse puller, install the POWER SUPPLY FUSE.
5. Perform the appropriate voltage testing based on power supply type according to Voltage
Testing on pages 4-2 through 4-4..
WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Use approved safety equipment and
procedures.
CAUTION: Arcing between the RF module and the centerseizure assemblies will damage the
unit. Remove the POWER SUPPLY FUSE before removing the RF module.
