PAPER JAM
LIFT PANEL TO OPEN
Paper jams have occurred in
the machine.
<OPEN PRINTER COVER> or
<OPEN REAR COVER> appears
alternately.
Clear the paper jam (See “Paper
Jams,” on p. 11-4.) and reload
paper in the paper cassette or
multipurpose tray. The cover
must be opened and closed to
resume the current job.
PHONE OFF HOOK
HANG UP PHONE
The external telephone is off
the hook.
Hang up the external
telephone.
PLATEN GLASS DIRTY
CLEAN PLATEN GLASS
The ADF scanning area on the
left side of the platen glass may
be dirty.
Clean the ADF scanning area,
then press [OK].
PREPARING SCANNER...
PLEASE WAIT
The machine is not ready for
scanning.
Wait until the machine is ready.
SAME FILE NAME The same file name exists when
you are scanning a document
to a USB memory.
Press [OK] and rename the file.
START AGAIN A transmission error has
occurred because the line
condition was poor.
Check the line condition, then
try again.
STOP KEY PRESSED
PRESS OK KEY
[Stop/Reset] has been pressed
while scanning the document
using the ADF.
Press [OK], then set the
document again.
