3.16 LANGUAGE SELECTION

1. Press and hold the SELECT key for 6 seconds until Mes-
sageCenter displays the current language (ENGLISH,
ESPAÑOL, FRANÇAIS or PORTUGUÊS).
2. Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key until the MessageCenter indicates the de-
sired language. Press the = key. The new language will now be active.
If the = key is not pressed within 10 seconds, the MessageCenter will change to
“FUNCTION NOT CHANGED”. This will flash for 5 seconds, then return to the
current language. If no further keys are pressed, the default display will return in
another 10 seconds.
TIP
If the language is set to one that the user
does not understand, press and hold the
“SELECT” key for 6 seconds to bring up
the Language Parameter so that it can be
changed.
