  Excessive power consumption in your Carver Pump Water Pump can be attributed to several factors. The head might be lower than the rating, causing it to pump too much liquid. The specific gravity or viscosity of the liquid might be too high. There may be mechanical defects like binding rotating elements, or the system head might be lower than the design condition. An incorrect impeller diameter could also be the cause. To resolve this, adjust pressure flow, check the liquid temperature, and inspect for pipe strain. Also, check the foundation bolting and replace any defective parts. Adjust the system head or trim the impellers to the actual condition. If needed, replace the impeller or trim it to the correct diameter, consulting with Carver Pump before trimming.

  If your Carver Pump Water Pump fails to deliver liquid, several issues could be the cause. The discharge head might be above the shutoff point. A check valve could be stuck or improperly installed. The impeller or suction line might be clogged. The impeller might be improperly installed. There might be incomplete priming or venting of the pump or piping. Valves might not be fully open, or internal parts may be excessively worn. To address this, check the pump rating against the actual head condition, adjust or reverse the check valve, and inspect and clean the suction line and impeller. Disassemble the pump to correct the axial alignment of the impeller, vent the piping carefully, and prime the pump. Fully open the valves, locking them open if necessary, and disassemble the pump to replace...
