Function:
Comment
Character string
Statement that expresses a comment.
Explanation:

1) Written in a program. Content after REM in one line is treated as comment
statement and
is therefore not executed.

2) When a command to be executed is written on the same line, write a multi-
statement sign
(:)before the REM statement.
Example:
